Full Day Cape Peninsula
Our full day tour of the Cape Peninsula will have you staring in amazement, and reaching for your cameras as we explore the country’s most beautiful coastline to Cape Point. We stop at iconic destinations, world heritage sites, and charming seaside towns along the way. The tour isn’t complete without a visit to the penguins at Boulders Beach and then we’ll explore one of the greatest botanical gardens in the world.
Description
First up on the tour: you’ll be picked up at your departure point in Cape Town. Thereafter; the drive will lead us through a scenic route beginning from the tourist hotspot beaches such as Camps Bay, Clifton, and Bantry Bay. Next, the tour continues its journey passing the majestic 12 Apostles Mountain range, through the charming town of Hout Bay. Home to mountains, forests and beautiful scenery.
The drive carries on along Chapman’s Peak, a renowned, scenic mountainous road that will lead the way to the splendid Cape Point. On this tour, you’ll get to behold some of the country’s most inspiring views. There are also plenty of lookout points and great photo opportunities to capture every moment of the scenery. Cape Point is located at the most southern point of the Cape Peninsula. It is said to be one of the most beautiful places in Africa, with its white sandy beaches and rugged coastline. This region is also rich with flora and there is an abundance of wildlife roaming the cliffs.
With a lot more to see than just Cape Point itself, we will make our next stop at the Cape of Good Hope Nature reserve. It’s here where we will explore some of the natural fauna and flora protected in this World Heritage Site, which is home to various fauna species like zebra, ostrich, eland, dassies, baboons, and birds of prey.
Our tour of the Cape Peninsula then carries on along the Indian Ocean coast passing through beautiful, and rustic towns.
Arriving at Boulder’s Beach is the next stop of the tour, which is home to a rare colony of African Penguins. Here, you can see them in their natural habitat, bathing on rocks, having a swim, or simply looking cute for the cameras.
Our final stop on the tour of the Cape Peninsula will be at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens which lie at the foot of Table Mountain. Kirstenbosch is known as “one of the best botanic gardens in the world” and home to the most beautiful collection of flora protected species.
Next, we put the cameras down as we head back to your dedicated drop off point. We’ll then go home enriched with a day of jam-packed nature at its best.
